About ...
This is a very attractive grey kitten. He is friendly, playful and gets on fine with other cats. It is hard to capture how attractive he is in photographs.

We TNR'd the mother cat. The location was right next to a busy main road. It was clear that the 3 kittens would likely be killed in traffic if we didn't take them in.

He is currently living with a volunteer.

This is the volunteer's report:

-------------------------------

Apricot is a great kitten who is a calm enjoyer of cuddles, playtime, and food. He is a little skittish around new people and environments, but once warmed up, loves playing and spending time around his family.

His favorite toys are a manual mouse on a stick, and the automatic “Catch me if you can” cat toy, which he will happily pounce on in the evening hours. He is very acrobatic during playtime, often performing jumps and dashes to catch his prey. He is also food-motivated (especially with Chuuru treats, which he insists on biting rather than licking) and would be easy to train or reward with food. He gets very excited around mealtime but has a very small meow, which we expect to grow into a soft adult meow.

For regular meals, he likes wet and dry food, and is the type to leave kibble in his bowl to eat throughout the day, so feeding is a fairly simple affair.

Apricot spends most of the day being quiet, napping, and calmly observing the world, but still has an adventurous kitten side and loves to climb up high. His favorite napping places are a bed that is placed on a cat tree, and a cardboard box with a cushion in it. He is not usually clingy even when people are around, and will stay quiet until invited to play. He likes pets and, if woken up with soft strokes, will purr and stretch in an adorable way and then sleep again afterwards.

Like many cats, he is most active in the evenings and nights; once tired, though, he will happily join his family in bed and will often sleep curled up at the foot or in soft valleys made by blankets. He also enjoys short periods of snuggling under the blankets now and then.

He is fine with other cats, as he has been living with an older foster brother cat.

Apricot would be ideal for those looking for a warm and affectionate addition to their families. We hope he finds a wonderful home, as one could not ask for a more wonderful kitten.
